I was a client at this salon from September 2016 until January 2017. I liked the way the stylists did my hair and even recommended it to family members who lived in the Peekskill area. However, I was shocked and embarrassed to discover the owner and a stylist criticizing me and the texture of my hair by making statements such as "duro pelo" and "grande cabeza". It was very unprofessional. I am no longer a client at Rafaelina Beauty Salon.

The place is super clean. The owner was courteous and pleasant. I called in advance to see if the place was busy. I explained all I wanted was a haircut. I waited 15 mins in the nice comfy chairs they have. The owner did the haircut. What good hands she has!! My hair responded accordingly. It's nice, healthy, and shiny.
They are very professional. The salon is very clean. My hair has grown since going there. I wish they were in white plains, though.
